Note: Since making the recording of this instrument, I have redone the string that holds the keys and replaced it with 30 lb. test fishing line. It sounds much better; it actually sounds similar to the easy key chime, but longer. The high overtones are much more present in the sound. Presumably the nylon string had a damping effect on each key, and now with the fishing line it is free to ring more fully.s
