The Dooley School Mallet Ensemble

and Recorder Consort Page

 Dooley Elementary School has two extra-curricular performing ensemble, the Mallet Ensemble and the Recorder Consort. Below are some pictures and some sound clips. Highlights of this performing season include performances at Navy Pier, the Schaumburg Township Public Library, and a tour around different schools of District 54. Mallet Ensemble:

The mallet ensemble is a group of twelve 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.

Recorder Consort

The Recorder Consort is a group of eleven 5th and 6th graders.

This is a traditional tune, which was danced to in Renaissance times.
